A few simple tips for first dates. You can end a date whenever you feel uncomfortable.
Don’t rush to share your phone number, address or workplace. Listen to their voice intro, chat; if it doesn’t feel right, don’t meet.
Meet in daytime at a busy café, restaurant or museum. Don’t go to anyone’s home or invite them to yours.
Get there and back on your own. There’s no need for them to pick you up or drop you off.
Share who you’re meeting, where and when. In Weddo’s date plan, use “Send to someone you trust”.
Never send money, lend money or share ID or bank details. A sudden “emergency” story is the most common sign of fraud.
Don’t leave your drink unattended; ask for help right away if you feel unwell.
