Legal Information
Cookie Policy
This policy explains what our website stores in your browser, what it is for and how you can delete it.
This English text is an informational translation. In the event of any discrepancy, the Turkish original prevails: read the Turkish version
1. Short Summary
Our site does not use cookies. No cookie is placed for analytics, advertising, tracking or profiling, and no third-party script is loaded. The only things we keep in your browser are two preferences you set yourself: the theme (light/dark) and the interface sound effects.
2. What Are Cookies and Local Storage?
A cookie is a small text file saved to your device when you visit a website and sent back to the server with every request. Because it is sent back to the server, it can be used to track visitors.
Local storage, on the other hand, stays in your browser only; it is not sent to the server automatically. This is the only thing we use, and only to remember preferences you set by pressing a button.
3. What We Keep in Your Browser
The entries below are created only when you change the relevant preference yourself. None of them contains identifying information, none is sent to our server, and none is used to distinguish one visitor from another.
| Name | Purpose | Type | When it is created |
|---|---|---|---|
| hl-theme | Remembering your light/dark theme preference | Local storage (first party) | When you use the theme button |
| hl-sfx | Whether interface sound effects are on or off | Local storage (first party) | When you use the sound button |
4. Why We Don't Ask for Cookie Consent
Cookie consent is required only for technologies that are not strictly necessary for the service to work — analytics, advertising, tracking. None of these exist on our site, so there is no processing that would require consent.
The two entries above are functional records that you create through an explicit action (pressing a button) and that serve only to remember your own preference. For that reason no separate consent is required under KVKK or the GDPR/ePrivacy rules.
If we add an analytics or marketing technology in future, this policy will be updated and your explicit consent will be requested before it goes live.
5. Deleting These Entries
You can delete both entries at any time by clearing the site data (including local storage) in your browser settings. After clearing, the site opens with the default theme and sound settings; nothing else is affected.
Blocking cookies entirely in your browser also has no effect on how the site works, because we do not use cookies in the first place.
6. Third-Party Content
The site contains no third-party content such as maps, video, social media embeds, advertising networks or analytics providers. All assets, including fonts, are served from our own server; when you open a page your browser sends no request to any other domain.
7. Relationship to Personal Data
These entries do not constitute personal data. You can find how other data such as server access logs (IP address and so on) is processed in our Privacy Policy and Data Protection Notice.
8. Changes to This Policy
If what we keep in your browser changes, this policy is updated and the date at the top of the page is changed. If a new tracking technology is added, you are informed before it is put into use and your consent is obtained where required.
